The College

            Fr. Conceicao Rodrigues College Of Engineering is one of the premier engineering institutions in Bombay. Situated in Bandra, a suburb of Bombay,it is affiliated to the prestigious University of Bombay and is one of the few colleges that has over thousand students graduating each year. The college is headed by eminent Dr. R. S. Iyer (B.Sc., Ph.D.), who not only has 14 years of industrial experience but also 10 years of teaching experience. The different courses offered by this institution are:

ELECTRONICS ENGINEERING: Dr. B. R. Prabhu

            It is one of the 3 out of a total of 27 engineering colleges under the University Of Bombay to have been accredited an

"A" rating.

            This accreditation was given by the
Directorate of Technical Education - State of Maharashtra.

            The grading was decided on a number of factors such as :

  • College Laboratories
  • College Libraries
  • Computer Facilities
  • College Infrastructure


            The Department of Computer Engineering , headed by Dr. Bernard Menezes ( Ph.D, University of Texas at Austin), has fully equipped laboratories and employs an experienced and highly qualified staff. The department arranges seminars, lectures by the experts from the industry and institutions and organizes educational visits to various industries for the benefit of the students.

            Over the years, Fr. Conceicao Rodrigues College Of Engineering has not only been serving as an excellent platform for the budding engineers, seeking success in the IT industry but also for those who wish to broaden their scope and vision by pursuing further studies abroad.
